Why did we create YGC?
The world is a global village! This statement has never been more true. We all want our children to be educated as global citizens. We want to give them the best education so they can be well-prepared anywhere they go and against any challenge they may face.
That’s why, York Press launched an ambitious educational project which is to author global educational standards in Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
The project led to the creation of York Global Curriculum Framework which presents the result of a comparative analysis of US Common Core standards, Canada’s Ontario standards, the UK curriculum, Singapore’s Mastery Approach in Mathematics, and curriculum standards in the Arab world.
